CHORUS
Don’t know you,
Who you are,
But girl you’re a shooting star,
In the sky, travelling far,
Never know just where you’ll stop,
Just have to hope that when you do,
I’ll be there too.
VERSE
Every day,
You pass my way,
Which I could say,
Hey.
Every night,
You’re on my mind,
Hard to find,
Smile just as kind.
CHORUS
VERSE
All it took,
Was just one look,
Then I knew,
Got to be you.
No one else every day,
Looks my way,
Quite the same,
Wish I knew your name.
CHORUS
VERSE
Passing by on the street,
Seem so sweet,
Life’s on repeat,
Wish we’d meet.
One day you’ll see,
Or just maybe,
You’ll always be,
This mystery.
CHORUS
One of the first songs I've written where I started with a chorus and tune which just came into my head early in the morning (most likely sleep deprived) while waiting at my deserted bus stop. I think it's one of the first songs which wasn't inspired somehow by events in my own life. Just a random story. Written mid 2011.
