There’s a girl who holds my heart,
I think about her every day.
She always looks so beautiful,
Just takes my breath away.
I know she deserves the best,
Nothing less will do.
I’m nowhere near perfection,
Some days I don’t have a clue.
But no matter what it takes,
It is always worthwhile.
Just to see her happy,
To bring out that amazing smile.
I’ll start to pick her flowers,
Hand them to her with love.
Then i’ll move to bouquets,
But that still won’t be enough.
I’ll plant her a whole field,
Flowers swaying in the breeze.
As she lays there in the sun,
Beauty will be all she sees.
As lovely as that sounds,
She deserves still so much more.
So i’ll package up the ocean,
Every wave hitting the shore.
I’ll collect every grain of sand,
Every stunning cliff face by the sea.
Pick out every fruit she adores,
Find her leaves for every tea.
I’ll round up every flame,
Find where every heat source hides.
Create a loving embrace,
From every warmth this earth provides.
I’ll find her every diamond,
The sweetest honey from the bees.
Collect the songs of birds,
As they sing up in the trees.
I’ll wrap it all up with a bow,
Ribbons of the finest sort.
Hand it to her with a card,
Filled with every loving thought.
As she pulls the ribbon loose,
The present is unfurled.
Finally just what she deserves,
I’ll give her the world.
