Formspring VS Onioning
Today I’ve officially joined two groups of people all hoping to be asked random questions. I don’t know exactly why getting questions to answer is so fun but it’s addictive! I’ve joined Formspring (http://www.formspring.me/thatpatrickguy), a site where people can ask you questions (both anonymously or with an account). That’s pretty much all it is. You have a page which people can post up questions to and you respond to the questions. They can (and often are) about yourself but can be about whatever people decide to ask. It’s interesting! Lots of fun to answer questions when they come in
I’m not sure if it was a bot or not but I was told on Formspring about another site called Onioning which is the same sort of site but way more complex (see http://onioning.com/thatpatrickguy). You can be asked questions just like on Formspring but there’s also the option to ask the public a question and see what answers you get.
Which one is better? Onioning seems to have way more possibilities but Formspring is nice and simple. Onioning definitely made finding questions to ask and getting connected with people on the site a lot easier. Both sites have potential but I think Onioning is in the lead at the moment in terms of functionality.
Totally interesting set of sites! Not sure how truly useful they are but they are a bit of fun!
