The second of my three photos for New Years Day in 2012. Sometimes in life, you’ve got to embrace the unknown. Live with uncertainty rather than fight against it. Who knows what 2012 might bring in each of our lives, part of the fun is experiencing it and finding out.
This is Yuris Lesnik, a really nice guy I met in Pitt Street Mall in Sydney. He makes foam morphers which start out as a shape (such as a cube or a pyramid) and then can fold out into an object like a robot or flower. It is a really cool idea! Yuris is really passionate about his craft and was a lot of fun to speak with.
If you’re interested in seeing the mysterious object in his hands, it’s one of these – http://morphopolis.tv.free.fr/. You should buy one. They’re brilliant.
